SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Victory man has been arrested following an investigation into a physical altercation, according to state police. Luke Sutliff, 24, is facing multiple charges. Get the latest, news, weather, sports and community events delivered right to your inbox! On July 11 at 11:41 p.m., troopers responded to a home in the village of Victory on the report of a dispute. The investigation determined that Sutliff and the victim were involved in a scuffle. Police say that during the incident, Sutliff allegedly threatened the victim with a propane torch and prevented them from contacting law enforcement. CARLINVILLE, Ill. - Detectives with the Carlinville Police Department are investigating a homicide that took place Wednesday evening.According to Julie Griffith, a clerk for the department, police responded to a shooting in the 1000 block of Johnson Street around 7:20 p.m.Officers arrived at the scene and found the victim, identified as Dana Morgan Jr., suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Two people were arrested Thursday morning after allegedly trying to break into evacuated homes affected by a landslide in Rolling Hills Estates, officials said.Deputies with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department were providing security to houses in the area when they were made aware of two people tying to burglarize the evacuated homes.Deputies established a perimeter as the suspects tried to run into the landslide area, officials said.The Torrance Police Department used a drone to help find the suspects and deputies took them into custody, officials said. 2 Killed after Single-Vehicle Crash near HayforkTRINITY COUNTY, CA (July 13, 2023) – Late Friday afternoon, two occupants were killed in a solo-car accident on State Route 3.The fatal incident occurred around 5:35 p.m. on SR-3, just two miles north of State Route 36, south of Hayfork.According to CHP, A 2006 Ford Five Hundred went off the road while traveling northbound on SR-3 at an unknown rate of speed.Subsequently, the Ford crashed into a tree, leaving the driver and the passenger with fatal injuries.Responding emergency personnel declared two occupants, believed to be residents of Hayfork, dead at the scene.
